The Posh Travel Blog have a wealth of experience to share having travelled many times on the most luxurious cruise lines. Christina has been cruising for over 30 years, with her first voyage being an Egyptian river cruise in 1990, and her recent voyage on the Nile being her 100th voyage! Stuart’s first cruise was in 1996, so he’s not far behind!

What has been your cruise highlight from the last year?
The Mekong River cruise with AMA waterways - we saw such diverse scenery and were able to reach places that you would never otherwise get to see as they are so far off the beaten track! Sitting in a local’s home and listening to their stories was a surreal experience that we’ll never forget. We even set up a charity to help the small primary school we visited while cruising with AMA to raise funds for technology, supplies, and school transport. So far, we have raised $2500 and we have a target of $10000, so we are a quarter of the way there! It will make such a huge difference to the children.
What cruise destination is still on your bucket list?
South America including Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Antarctica.
What is the one thing that you will not travel without?
Stuart: DJI Pocket 3 camera and microphones.

What do you do before your cruise to make sure you are well prepared to make the most from your holiday?
Research the destinations on YouTube and Google, and also get the background on the ships we are sailing on.
