It takes approximately 24 hours to reach the Galápagos Islands from the UK, due to connecting flights and transfers in different airports. For those embarking on a cruise in the Galápagos, it’s recommended you fly out at least two days prior to your embarkation to allow enough time for arrival and account for potential delays. You may want to break up the journey by landing in Ecuador and spend a few days adjusting before taking the final flight to Islands themselves.
