As of 7th January 2026, Oceania Cruises will now exclusively welcome guests 18 years of age and older at the time of embarkation on all new reservations. The luxury cruise line is continuing their focus on delivering serene, sophisticated service on every voyage and this new policy guarantees a relaxed, adult-only experience for guests every time they sail with them.
Following extensive guest feedback, Oceania Cruises have made this decision to focus on what guests value most: refined service, cultural enrichment and unhurried exploration. Oceania Cruises’ guests value the company of like-minded adults, and consistently choose the cruise line for their calm, tranquil atmosphere.
Oceania Cruises will honour all pre-existing bookings made with children before 7th January 2026 in full, with no impact at all. Any bookings made after this date will only be allowed for guests over the age of 18.
While Oceania Cruises’ sailings will now be exclusively for adult guests, children can still travel on board either of Oceania’s luxury sister brand Regent Seven Seas, which offer exceptional itineraries designed for families and multi-generational travellers.
Each brand within the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. family serves a distinct audience. Oceania Cruises’ ships and experiences are crafted for adult travellers seeking tranquility, cultural immersion and relaxed sophistication.
